As a business partner to some of the world’s best known plumbing and heating suppliers, our unrivalled list of market leading product brands includes Yorkshire integral solder ring fittings, Terrier radiator valves, Tectite push fit fittings, Performa tap solutions, the XPress press fit system, Francis Pegler luxury taps, Pegler valves, Prestex general brassware, Endex solder ring and Kuterlite compression fittings.
At Yorkshire Fittings we are constantly striving to develop jointing solutions that meet the changing needs of specifiers and installers alike. The Kuterlite suite of compression fittings comprises a number of product ranges which suit a broad spectrum of applications across the domestic and commercial sectors.
The Kuterlite joint consists of a body with a built-in stop for receiving the tube, a compression ring the same size as the tube’s outside diameter, and a compression nut. To make the joint, the tube and fitting are assembled, and the compression nut tightened with a spanner. This quick and simple action compresses the compression ring onto the tube, creating a sound mechanical joint.
At Yorkshire we are constantly striving to develop jointing solutions that meet the changing needs of specifiers and installers alike. The Endex suite of end feed fittings comprises a number of product ranges which suit a broad spectrum of applications across the domestic and commercial sectors.
The Principle Of The Endex Joint
The Endex joint is created through the process of capillary attraction. When the fitting and tube are assembled and heated to the correct temperature, solder applied to the mouth of the fitting becomes molten. Capillary attraction ensures the solder is drawn into the gap between tube and fitting, forming a sturdy and reliable joint.
At Pegler Yorkshire we are constantly striving to develop jointing solutions that meet the changing needs of specifiers and installers alike. The Yorkshire potable suite of integral solder ring capillary fittings has the solid reputation of an established product range, and suits a broad spectrum of applications in the domestic, commercial and industrial sectors.
THE YORKSHIRE INTEGRAL SOLDER RING JOINT
During the manufacture of these precision-made fittings, a ring of high quality lead-free solder is positioned in each capillary socket. When heat is applied, the solder is released into the gap between the tube and the fitting, resulting in a totally sound joint without the need to end feed additional solder.
Press fittings from Pegler Yorkshire make jointing easier, faster and more cost effective than other jointing methods – a fittings system which simply presses together in seconds to create a perfect joint, every time.
Tectite Sprint is a range of heat-free, metal push-fit fittings, designed for use on hot and cold water services, heating and chilled water applications and low temperature hot water services.
